The Hainault Forest Visitor Centre, run by the Woodland Trust, is a one-stop shop to find out everything you might need to get the best out of your day at the forest.
Get your bearings and decide where to explore at our large map table.
Uncover the fascinating history, heritage and wildlife of Hainault Forest through our exhibits, displays and interactives.
Join us for a craft activity, workshop or walk in the forest. Everything is designed to be educational, fun and hopefully inspiring.
You can also discover how the partnership between the Woodland Trust, Vision RCL and London Borough of Redbridge is helping to create a sustainable future for the forest and the wildlife that calls it home.
Tools for Schools
Resources for Learning
If you are a school visiting Hainault Forest, have a look at the Woodland Trust’s Tools for Schools which has some unique tools and resources for children.
You can also learn more about the Green Tree Schools Awards, an awards based scheme that helps to inspire children to take positive steps to protecting the planet.
Alternatively, you can take to the visitor centre team about a curating a bespoke walk or workshop.
