Bat Walk at Dusk
Come for an exciting Bat walk in the forest, where we will be joined by an inspirational young scientist called Georgia whose passion and expertise in bat ecology has already made real impact.
Having led many successful bat walks through her work with the Linnean Society, Georgia brings knowledge and enthusiasm to all her walks and we are looking forward to having her lead this walk at Hainault Forest. During the walk we will be discussing their behaviours and how their effective adaptations have helped them become one of the most successful mammals around the globe. You will also learn how to use bat detectors to detect their squeaky echolocation calls as well as identifying the different species.
