Dissecting Owl Pellets

Are you curious about food chains and what animals like to eat? This October half-term we will be looking at Owls and what they like to feed on.

This is a hands-on activity for ages 5+ that will allow curious minds to examine the contents of an owl pellet, giving you insight into food chains, predator verses prey relationships and the diet of some of the owls that can be spotted in Hainault forest.

This activity is suitable for children aged 5+ and we will also be running separate sessions for ages 8+

Sessions for ages 8+ will be taking place at the following time slots: 

Tuesday 28th October – 1:30pm

Thursday 30th October- 1:30pm

Please note that this is a paid event costing £3 per child (parents are free)
